mostly uneventful. i currently have neutral or slightly negative feelings about my love life
7. what were you like as a child?
here is a photo of me circa age ~3:
8. what did you eat today?

~1x smoothie (kale, banana, honey, almond milk)
rice with kale + bell peppers
~2 glasses of red wine

11. what kind of people do you hate?
i only have feelings about individual people, i think. i don’t feel any one specific emotion towards any category/group/’kind’ of people. i am honestly unsure wether or not i have ever ‘hated’ a person. i have had very strong negative feelings towards/about specific people, but i don’t think i have ever consciously categorized those emotions as ‘hate’

i would like to earn enough money to live comfortably while doing something that i enjoy. i would like to feel fulfilled creatively and in other ways
13. do you have any depressing stories about your life?
this summer i took a spanish class. on the ~2nd or ~3rd day of class, during our 10 minute break, a boy who i had previously made ‘small talk’ with gave me a flower and called me ‘lovely’ or something. it was sweet and made me feel happy. i smelled the flower and said ‘thank you’ then put the flower on my desk. ~15 minutes later, my face became very itchy and covered in hives because i am severely allergic to pollen. i had to leave class ~1.5 hours early. i never spoke to him again after that
14. who are your favorite authors?
here are some ways i thought about answering this question: ‘i only read books about vampires’, ‘i have never read a book’, ‘dan brown’
this question gives me anxiety, i think. feel like i am somehow going to give the ‘wrong’ answer and people are going to judge me harshly for it
here are some authors i have enjoyed reading in the past:
jean rhys, tao lin, lorrie moore, haruki murakami, anne beattie, virginia woolf, noah cicero, fernando pessoa, joy williams
here are some books that i enjoyed recently: ‘almost transparent blue’ by ryu murakami, ‘savage detectives’ by roberto bolano, ‘the insurgent’ by noah cicero, ‘voyage in the dark’ and ‘good morning midnight’ by jean rhys, ‘refusing heaven’ by jack gilbert, ‘there is no year’ by blake butler, ‘a million bears’ by spencer madsen, ‘selected unpublished blog posts of a mexican panda express employee’ by megan boyle, ‘a gate at the stairs’ by lorrie moore
i like books with in-depth descriptions of seemingly insignificant details, books about alienated people, books about people who feel unfulfilled in life, short stories, books of poetry, books that describe a single emotion for ~5 or more pages, books that can be described as ‘atmospheric’
15.what will you be doing ten years from now?
my first thought was ‘do i have to be alive for 10 more years’
